Search Engine Optimisation - SEO

SEO Ireland, UK, US, rest of the world.... in any language.

SEO or Search Engine Optimisation is a process that maximises your website's natural search engine rankings. With over 50% of Irish adults now regularly using search engines to locate thousands of products and services, it is now more important then ever for companies to implement an effective SEO strategy.

When you consider that 56% of all online purchases originate from search engine listings and with only 10% of internet users regularly going beyond the 1st page of results, the importance of SEO in the marketing mix becomes obvious. Google Page Rank or Google PR

PageRank relies on the uniquely democratic nature of the web by using its vast link structure as an indicator of an individual page's value. In essence, Google interprets a link from page A to page B as a vote, by page A, for page B. But Google looks at more than the sheer volume of votes, or links a page receives; it also analyzes the page that casts the vote. Votes cast by pages that are themselves 'important' weigh more heavily and help to make other pages 'important'.
