GetCover.com provides travel insurance and home insurance in Ireland and the UK.

The brief

Increase web sales by increasing Click Through Rates (CTRs) and by reducing Cost Per Click (CPC) on existing Google AdWords PPC campaign.

Our approach

Our Google Certified Experts refined the existing PPC Campaign. We used tracking code to ascertain which keywords and categories were resulting in online sales. We conducted further keyword research and moved away from costly generic phrases that weren't resulting in sales, substituting targeted niche phrases that brought in quality visitors who were actively searching for Get Cover's product. We rewrote ad copy to pre-qualify customers and improve site navigation. By improving the overall quality of the campaign, we increased the average ad position. That means Get Cover's ads now display higher up the Google page and are therefore more likely to attract customer attention.

Results

Digino increased CTRs by an average of 130%, while reducing the average CPC by 75%. This resulted in more visitors at a lower cost and a significant increase in online visitors and online sales.

Digino is currently redesigning getcover.com to fully optimise the site for extensive natural search engine rankings, to introduce a more user-friendly travel insurance quote process, and to add a new house insurance service.
