Asavie Technologies came to Digino with a challenge – how to take their incredibly smart VPN solution for mobile devices, currently being supplied through major telecommunications partners, direct to market. Following research. strategy and planning, together the two teams brought iSimplyConnect to life. A simple, secure VPN for iPads and iPhones, that doesn’t need expensive hardware to run, but with enterprise level security as standard.
VPN for iPads have always proved challenging to businesses, firewalls and security being paramount. While many VPN solutions can accommodate remote access to shared resources and networks via laptops, mobile devices often weren’t supported, because of costs, or technical challenges raised. iSimplyConnect solves that problem.
iSimplyConnect is very different offering than existing desktop access providers in the market – such as Logmein or GottomyPC. iSimplyConnect isn’t just a screen scrape, or an unsecured window to the network via an individual’s computer. Installed quickly and easily to the company server, the IT manager can choose to add as many devices as needed, by entering the user’s company email address. When the user installs the App on their iPad or phone, the VPN solution is complete, and users can access all their shared resources they need, like Salesforce, Sharepoint, SAP and windows files and folders.

For this early phase of the product, we’ll be testing, and gauging reaction to the product, learning and adapting the site and working closely with a team of incredible developers at Asavie to iterate and improve the user experience, with a full product launch later in the year.
